Ritzy Biden fundraiser in NYC interrupted multiple times by Pro-Palestinian protesters: ‘Blood on your hands’

A star-studded fundraiser hosted by President Biden in New York City was interrupted multiple times by protesters inside the event, as well as outside, as protesters clashed with New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers on Thursday evening.

The protest, which migrated along Sixth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan, took place outside of Radio City Music Hall.

The fundraiser, which reportedly raised $25 million, also included an armchair discussion with Biden, former President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton. The Q&A was moderated by Stephen Colbert.

The protesters interrupted the session, with one shouting, “You’re out of your f—ing minds.” Outside, many participants shouted, “Genocide Joe, it is time to go.”

Other protesters continued to interrupt all three presidents during their remarks on Gaza, with many yelling “blood on your hands.”

During Obama’s comments on Gaza, protesters interrupted the former president.

“You can’t just talk and not listen,” Obama said. The audience gave him a standing ovation.

The president’s conversation kicked off by remarks by First Lady Jill Biden and musical guests hosted by actress and comedian Mindy Kaling.

“We have an unbelievable evening ahead of you. This is the biggest fundraiser the DNC has ever held – the fundraiser to end all fundraisers – and we’ve raised a record amount.Thank you so much,” she said.

“Tonight, you’ll be treated to world-class performances, award-winning artists, side-splitting comedians and, of course, three amazing presidents side by side in conversation. You are witnessing history, because this has never been done before,” Jill said. This will truly be a night to remember.”

Musical guests included, Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo and Lea Michele.

In a statement, the NYPD confirmed to Fox News Digital that one person was taken into custody following the protests.

“On Thursday, March 28, 2024, at approximately 1834 hours, a demonstration occurred at 47 Street and 50 Street on 6 Avenue, within the confines of the Midtown North Precinct. One person was taken into custody and released with a summons,” a NYPD spokesperson said.
