Florida man impersonated police while wearing Buccaneers jersey and flashing red, blue lights: authorities

A Tampa, Florida man was arrested on Sunday after allegedly attempting to pull vehicles over with his pickup truck outfitted with red and blue flashing lights, and while wearing a Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey, according to authorities.

The driver is identified as 62-year-old Earl Mitchell Cesario has been charged with false impersonation of officials in Sumter County.

On Sunday morning, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper learned of a red GMC truck that was attempting to pull other vehicles over while flashing red and blue lights, FOX 13 in Tampa reported.

Cesario was then arrested and transported to the Sumter County Jail.
