Chiefs’ Justyn Ross faces battery charge after alleged domestic violence incident

Kansas City Chiefs wideout Justyn Ross is facing an additional charge after he was arrested Monday in connection with a domestic violence incident, police said.

Ross, who was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2022, was arrested in Shawnee, Kansas, at around 2:30 p.m. local time and was initially charged with criminal damage of more than $25,000, according to a booking report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

The report notes that the alleged crime happened related to a domestic violence incident.

The Chiefs said they were aware of the arrest but declined to comment on Monday. Reps for Ross did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on Monday.

Ross has appeared in all seven games this season and has three catches for 34 yards. He missed the entire 2022 season with a foot injury.
